The OA Marketplace is an online platform by the Department of Agriculture's Organic Agriculture Program. It connects verified organic producers with buyers across the Philippines, enabling direct trade of certified organic products.
Organic producers (individuals, cooperatives, and associations) and buyers (retailers, wholesalers, institutional buyers, and consumers) can register. All accounts go through a verification process to ensure legitimacy.
No. The OA Marketplace is a free government service. There are no listing fees, transaction fees, or subscription costs for any user.
Producers must submit valid organic certifications (PGS, Third-Party, or International) during registration. The Organic Agriculture division reviews and validates these credentials before granting marketplace access.
After completing registration and verification, go to the Marketplace section, click "New Post", fill in the product details (commodity, quantity, price, photos, location), and publish. Your listing will be visible to all registered users.
Yes. Buyers can post "buying" requests specifying the product, quantity, and preferred region. Producers can then respond with offers.
After completing a sales transaction, both buyers and sellers can rate each other (1–5 stars) and leave tags highlighting strengths like "Fresh Quality", "Fast Delivery", or "Fair Pricing".
The OA Marketplace covers all 17 administrative regions of the Philippines. Users can filter products by region, province, municipality, or barangay.
Each listing has a built-in real-time chat feature. Click "Send Message" on any listing to start a conversation with the poster.
